The Presidency Reiterates Its Firm Stance in Rejecting and Condemning Any Targeting of Civilians

SadaNews - The Palestinian presidency has reiterated its firm position in rejecting and condemning any targeting of Palestinian and Israeli civilians, and denouncing all forms of violence and terrorism regardless of their source.

The presidency emphasized that security and stability in the region will not be achieved without ending the occupation, halting the acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip, and the terrorism of settlers in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

It stressed that the Palestinian people's attainment of their legitimate rights to an independent and sovereign state with its capital in East Jerusalem, and achieving security and peace for all, is the key to ending the cycle of violence in the region.

This came following the events that took place today in occupied Jerusalem.
