The Foreign Ministry Calls on the International Community to Assume Its Responsibilities in Stopping Organized Settler Terrorism
SadaNews - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates emphasized that "the attack by terrorist settler elements today, Friday, on the village of Khillat al-Dab’a in Masafer Yatta, which resulted in injuries and bruises to several citizens, including elderly individuals and an infant girl, requires the international community to assume its responsibilities and take deterrent international measures that compel the occupying government to put an end to these assaults and crimes, and to arrest and hold accountable their perpetrators, especially since they are carried out under the protection of the Israeli occupation army which encourages them to escalate their violent attacks on Palestinian towns and villages without accountability, aiming to intimidate Palestinian citizens."
The ministry considered in a statement that the escalation of organized and armed settler attacks against Palestinian citizens, their land, properties, and sacred sites indicates a disregard for international reactions and falls within the framework of further stealing Palestinian occupied land and allocating it for the spread, expansion, and deepening of colonial settlement, to impose a new reality in the occupied West Bank in preparation for annexing large parts of it.
