He stated in a post on the "Truth Social" platform: "Tell Hamas to return all twenty hostages immediately (not two or five or seven!), and things will change quickly. The war will end!", according to Reuters news agency.
This position is seen as an endorsement from the U.S. president of the Israeli stance rejecting a partial deal.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists that the next deal must be comprehensive, involving the return of all kidnapped individuals from Gaza, both the living and the dead, and that Hamas should relinquish governance, disarm, and have its leadership exiled from the Strip.
