Two Lebanese Army Soldiers Martyred in Explosion of Israeli Drone in Ras Al-Naqoura
SadaNews - Lebanese media reported today, Thursday, that two soldiers from the Lebanese army were martyred due to the explosion of an Israeli drone in Ras Al-Naqoura in the south of the country.
Television "Al-Jadid" mentioned that one of the soldiers was an officer.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun commented on the incident, stating: "Once again, the army pays in blood the price for maintaining stability in the south."
The explosion occurred hours after the UN Security Council approved the extension of the UN forces in Lebanon, "UNIFIL," until the end of 2026.
