UN: Children in Gaza Lose Opportunity for Education for the Third Consecutive Year
SadaNews - The United Nations has stated that Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip will be deprived of education for the third consecutive year due to the siege and genocide perpetrated by Israel.
UN spokesperson Stefan Dujarric explained during a press conference last night that the new school year is approaching, and "children in Gaza will lose the opportunity for education for the third consecutive year. Education is a basic right, and no child should be deprived of it." Dujarric called for "protecting the right of children in Gaza to access education."
He emphasized the need to reopen schools and ensure that Palestinian children can exercise their right to education, warning that this crisis "threatens the future of an entire generation in Gaza."
