Occupation Army Again Confirms Responsibility for Strike on Nasser Hospital under Direct Orders from Command
SadaNews - Hebrew Channel 14 announced the results of an investigation carried out by the Israeli occupation army into the attack that targeted the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of 20 people, including five journalists.
According to the investigation, the occupation soldiers who carried out the attack acted with the approval of their high command after a series of failed attempts to reach their target, which prompted the command to give the green light to use a tank in the operation.
The report confirmed that orders were issued directly to attack the medical complex.
The attack took place on Monday evening, when two airstrikes targeted the emergency building at Nasser Hospital. The first struck the upper floor, and the second came minutes later while journalists and rescue workers were attempting to reach the victims, leading to additional deaths and injuries.
Nasser Hospital is one of the largest medical facilities in the southern Gaza Strip, serving thousands of civilians amid a worsening humanitarian crisis resulting from the ongoing war since October 2023. The attack has sparked a wave of international condemnation, with human rights organizations describing it as a "double strike" targeting both civilians and rescuers alike.
