Among them 67 children: The occupation holds the bodies of 726 martyrs in refrigerators and numbered graves

SadaNews - Data from the national campaign to recover the bodies of martyrs indicated that the occupation is still holding the bodies of 726 martyrs in refrigerators and numbered graves.

In a statement issued today, Wednesday, on the occasion of the national day for recovering the bodies of martyrs, it was clarified that among those held are the bodies of 256 martyrs buried in numbered graves, and 469 martyrs who have been held since the return of this policy in 2015, indicating a clear escalation of this policy in recent years.

It was noted that among these martyrs are 67 children, 85 martyrs from the prisoner movement, and 10 women.

The occupation authorities are also holding the bodies of more than 1,500 martyrs from the Gaza Strip since the start of the genocide war in 2023, where they are being held in the "Sdei Taiman" camp, which confirms the systematic and long-term nature of these violations.

It was affirmed that the holding of the bodies represents a systematic extension of colonial domination, as Palestinians are punished twice: in their life and after their death, by being turned into bargaining chips, depriving families of mourning.
