The Death Toll from the Occupation's Aggression on the Gaza Strip Rises to 62,819 Martyrs
SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,819, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
It added that the number of injuries has increased to 158,629 since the start of the aggression, while many victims remain under the rubble, and rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
It noted that 75 martyrs and 370 injured individuals have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, while the total number of martyrs and injuries since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,975 martyrs and 46,588 injured.
It explained that the number of those who reached the hospitals from the martyrs of assistance in the past 24 hours was 17 martyrs and 122 injuries, bringing the total number of martyrs who died from lack of livelihood to 2,140, and the injuries to 15,737.
Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded, during the past 24 hours, 3 new deaths due to starvation and malnutrition, raising the total number of deaths to 303 cases, including 117 children.
