
The Death Toll from the Occupation's Aggression on Gaza Rises to 62,819 Martyrs
Sada News - The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,819, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
It added that the number of injuries has risen to 158,629 since the beginning of the aggression, while several victims remain under the rubble, and rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
It noted that 75 martyrs and 370 injured individuals arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, while the total number of martyrs and injuries since March 18, following the occupation's breach of the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,975 martyrs and 46,588 injured.
It clarified that the number of martyrs from aid recipients who arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours is 17 martyrs, and the injuries are 122, bringing the total number of martyrs from those seeking a livelihood who reached hospitals to 2,140, and the injuries to 15,737.
Gaza hospitals recorded 3 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number of deaths to 303, including 117 children.
