Report: Israel to Send Its Negotiation Team in the Coming Days

SadaNews - Negotiations have begun to coordinate the timing and location of ceasefire talks in Gaza, while Israel is preparing to send its negotiation team in the coming days; according to Israeli Channel 12 on Friday evening.

According to Channel 12, it is likely that the negotiations will take place in a new location, unlike previous rounds of talks that were hosted in Doha and Cairo.

It pointed out that the negotiation team that managed the talks in the Qatari capital is the same team that will conduct discussions regarding a comprehensive deal with the mediators.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to change the name of the operation to occupy the city of Gaza to "Iron Fist", and it is planned to begin evacuating the city of Gaza next Sunday in preparation for the army's operations to occupy it.

The Israeli army is preparing both militarily and humanitarianly to expand its ground operations in the Gaza Strip and occupy the city of Gaza. Israel is considering establishing a direct access corridor from the Mawasi area to a field hospital in Rafah established by the UAE; according to Channel 12.

Netanyahu said on Thursday evening that he had instructed the start of immediate negotiations to conclude a comprehensive prisoner exchange deal and end the war in Gaza; according to what he stated was "on terms acceptable to Israel".

Hamas announced last Monday its acceptance of the latest proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the conclusion of a prisoner exchange deal with Israel.

Qatar also announced earlier that Hamas's response was "positive and nearly identical to what Israel had previously agreed to", while Egypt announced that significant progress had been made, indicating that "the ball is now in Israel's court".
