Israel Cancels Residence Visas for Australian Representatives to the Palestinian Authority
Translation by SadaNews - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar has decided to cancel the residence visas for Australian representatives to the Palestinian Authority.
Sa'ar also issued directives to the Israeli embassy in Canberra to carefully examine every application for an Australian visa to enter Israel.
This comes in the wake of Australia's announcement of its intention to recognize a Palestinian state and its refusal to grant entry visas to Australia for several Israeli figures, including former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked and the Chairman of the Constitution Committee in the Knesset, MK Simcha Rothman.
