Video: Extremist Ben Gvir Threatens Unarmed Prisoner Marwan Barghouti in His Cell
SadaNews - The Israeli Minister of National Security, extremist Itamar Ben Gvir, was seen storming the isolation ward of Nafha prison, specifically the cell where the Palestinian fighter Marwan Barghouti, who has been imprisoned for over 23 years, is located.
Ben Gvir threatened Barghouti inside his cell, as the latter appeared to be in harsh conditions due to the treatment of prisoners.
Ben Gvir told Barghouti: "You will not win against us; whoever harms the people of Israel, whoever kills children, whoever kills women, we will eradicate them."
Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh commented on the video by tweeting on the platform "X": "Ben Gvir's threat to leader Marwan Barghouti in his prison is the pinnacle of psychological, moral, and physical terrorism practiced against prisoners, and a violation of international and humanitarian charters and norms. This represents an unprecedented outbreak in the occupation's policy against Palestinian prisoners, necessitating immediate intervention by international organizations and institutions to protect them."
This is not the first time Ben Gvir has stormed Israeli prisons and threatened Palestinian prisoners.
Ben Gvir boasts that he is the first Israeli minister to work on worsening the conditions of Palestinian prisoners and imposing very harsh penalties on them.
