Jordan condemns Netanyahu's statements, asserting rejection as a serious provocative escalation and a threat to the sovereignty of nations
SadaNews -
Amman 13-8-2025 Wafa - The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned today, Wednesday, the statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he referred to the so-called "Greater Israel vision," describing them as a serious provocative escalation and a threat to the sovereignty of countries, as well as a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
The official spokesperson of the ministry, Ambassador Sufyan al-Qudah, affirmed the kingdom's absolute rejection of these inciting statements, emphasizing that these delusional fantasies reflected in the statements of Israeli officials will not diminish Jordan or Arab countries nor undermine the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. He added that these statements and actions reflect the dire situation of the occupying government's crisis and coincide with its international isolation amid its continued aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
Al-Qudah stressed that these allegations and delusions embraced and promoted by the extremists of the occupying government encourage the continuation of cycles of violence and conflict, necessitating a clear international stance condemning them and warning of their grave consequences on the security and stability of the region, as well as holding those responsible accountable.
Al-Qudah emphasized the urgent need for the international community to move immediately to stop all Israeli incitement actions and statements that threaten the stability of the region and international peace and security.
