Occupation notifies demolition of 13 facilities in Al-Eizariya southeast of Jerusalem
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation authorities notified, on Wednesday, the demolition and evacuation of more than 13 residential, agricultural, and industrial facilities in the Wadi Al-Hod area of Al-Eizariya town, southeast of Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated in a press release that these notifications are part of a plan to pave the way for the so-called "Lifespan Street" colonial project.
It noted that this step came one day after distributing around 14 similar notifications in the Wadi Al-Jamal and Jabal Baba areas, following another campaign a few days ago that issued 13 notifications at the entrance of Al-Eizariya, which threatens to isolate Wadi Al-Jamal and Jabal Baba from the town entirely.
The governorate confirmed that these actions are part of a comprehensive Judaization plan linking this colonial project to broader plans such as the "E1" project and the "Greater Jerusalem" plan, aimed at expanding settlements and disrupting the geographical continuity between Jerusalem and the West Bank.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that the occupation authorities notified the demolition of 33 Palestinian facilities last month, concentrated in Bethlehem Governorate with 19 notifications, Hebron with 6 notifications, and 3 notifications in each of Qalqilya and Tubas, with one in each of Tulkarem and Jerusalem.
