193 Days of Aggression on Tulkarm: Incursions and Arrests Amid Continuous Destruction
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 193rd consecutive day, and for the 168th day against the Nur Shams camp, amid ongoing military escalation.
Occupation forces arrested yesterday morning the young man Mahdi Mahna from the town of Deir al-Ghusun north of Tulkarm, after violently raiding and searching his family's home. His arrest comes just days after his release from the authority's prisons, where he spent a full year in detention.
Occupation forces also arrested citizen Raji Ghrayfi from in front of the Nur Shams camp east of Tulkarm, as part of a series of ongoing arrests targeting the camp's residents and its surroundings, amid the military siege imposed on the area.
Previously, occupation forces raided the towns of Anabta and Ramin east of Tulkarm the day before yesterday and conducted searches inside several homes, amid tightened military reinforcements.
Amid the continuation of military operations, the displaced people from the Nur Shams camp are facing difficult humanitarian conditions, as hundreds of families have been forced to leave their homes due to repeated incursions, and they are suffering from a shortage of basic necessities.
The occupation forces have caused wide destruction in the Al-Manshiyya neighborhood within the Nur Shams camp, where the destruction has affected the infrastructure and private properties, with testimonies from residents confirming the deliberate targeting of homes and vehicles during the incursions, reflecting the extent of the targeting of the camp and its people.
The ongoing escalation has led to the forcible displacement of more than 5,000 families from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, which is more than 25,000 citizens, and the complete destruction of over 600 homes, with 2,573 homes partially damaged, while entrances to the two camps remain closed with barriers, turning them into areas almost devoid of life.
The aggression has also resulted in the martyrdom of 14 citizens so far, including a child and two women, one of whom was in her eighth month of pregnancy, in addition to numerous injuries and arrests, and widespread destruction affecting the infrastructure, homes, commercial shops, and vehicles.
