Civil Defense in Gaza: 60% of the Vehicles Are Out of Service
SadaNews - The Civil Defense Department in Gaza announced this evening, Monday, that 60% of the department's vehicles have stopped working across all governorates of the Gaza Strip due to insufficient fuel supplies and necessary spare parts for repairs.
The department stated in a statement: We have managed to provide a small amount of fuel from some humanitarian and relief organizations, which does not exceed 15% of the daily professional need.
It added: We are now merging responses for some daily tasks that do not pose a direct threat to the lives of citizens and postponing some tasks, which puts us on the brink of a major humanitarian disaster.
