2228 settlers led by extremist Ben Gvir storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

SadaNews - This morning, Sunday, the minister of national security in the occupying government, the extremist Itamar Ben Gvir, led a provocative march for settlers, accompanied by Member of Knesset from the Israeli "Likud" party, Amit Halevi.

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem reported that around 2228 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque so far, performing Talmudic rituals, dances, and screams echoing throughout the mosque.

It is noteworthy that the extremist Ben Gvir led a provocative march for settlers in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem after midnight last night, on the occasion of what is called the "Memorial of the Destruction of the Temple."

Colonial "Temple" organizations have called for a wide-scale storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque today, coinciding with what is termed in the biblical narrative as the "Memorial of the Destruction of the Temple."

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, this year’s memorial is among the most dangerous days for Al-Aqsa Mosque, as "Temple" groups plan to make the third of August the "largest storming day," in a qualitative attempt to break the religious and legal red lines, taking advantage of the complete governmental alignment behind their extremist agenda.

This escalation is accompanied by an unprecedented incitement environment, occurring just weeks after Ben Gvir issued instructions to police officers to allow settlers to dance and sing inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, a step we consider preparatory for imposing "new realities" by force, especially after his public statement during his storming of the mosque last May that "praying and prostrating has become possible on the Temple Mount," in a clear and dangerous violation of the status quo.
