SadaNews - The Palestinian government valued what it described as "the pivotal role played by the Arab Republic of Egypt, leadership, government, and people, in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, stabilizing the ceasefire, and achieving a comprehensive end to the war on the Gaza Strip."
The Palestinian government praised, in a statement issued this evening, Friday, the continuous efforts of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian government in coordinating relief operations with international and UN organizations working in the sector, in addition to the ongoing preparations for holding an international conference for the reconstruction of Gaza.
The government also expressed its "full solidarity with Egypt in facing pressures and political and media campaigns, affirming its appreciation for the steadfast Egyptian position rejecting the displacement of our people from the sector, and supporting the unity of our national institutions and their political representation, ensuring the protection of our people’s legitimate rights and the realization of the Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza, including Jerusalem," as stated.
