Hamas: We are ready to engage in negotiations if the hunger in Gaza ends
SadaNews - The Hamas movement confirmed last night its readiness to immediately engage in negotiations again if aid reaches its rightful recipients and the humanitarian crisis and hunger in Gaza is resolved.
The movement stated in a statement: Continuing negotiations amidst starvation loses their substance and effectiveness, especially after the occupation withdrew from negotiations last week without justification, at a time when we were on the verge of reaching an agreement.
It added: The war of starvation being waged by the occupation in the Gaza Strip has reached an unbearable level and is posing the greatest danger to the lives of more than two million Palestinians.
The movement called on the international community and all relevant parties to take immediate action to stop this collective massacre being perpetrated by the occupation, and to deliver food supplies immediately to the residents of the sector in all areas unconditionally, while ensuring their protection.
