Iran Demands Compensation as a Condition to Resume Nuclear Talks
SadaNews - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized to the Financial Times that his country will not resume nuclear talks until the United States provides compensation for the damages incurred during the war, as SadaNews translated.
Araghchi stated: "We will not accept the status quo," demanding Washington explain why Iran has been targeted amid the nuclear negotiations, and provide guarantees against a recurrence of such actions.
Araghchi's statements come at a time when the Iranian nuclear file is experiencing a stalemate, amid rising calls to revive the nuclear agreement, and strained relations between Tehran and Washington due to recent regional and international developments.
