President Abbas Appreciates President Sisi's Call to His American Counterpart to End the War and Allow Aid into Gaza

SadaNews - President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas praised the special call made by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to U.S. President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza and facilitate the entry of aid into the strip.

The president stated that President Sisi's initiative is a continuation of the important and historic role played by the Arab Republic of Egypt, under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, in supporting the Palestinian cause, stopping Israeli aggression, facilitating humanitarian aid for our Palestinian people, and preventing displacement. This is a position we highly appreciate on behalf of ourselves and the Palestinian people, acknowledging the leading role that Egypt plays in establishing the foundations of security and peace in our region and the world.

The president added: We affirm the State of Palestine's support for sister Egypt and its brotherly people and wise leadership in completing the phase of construction and prosperity, and confronting all forms of terrorism targeting Egypt and its national security, emphasizing the continuation of mutual coordination and shared destiny that serves the two brotherly peoples and countries.
