Trump Decides to Withdraw from UNESCO
SadaNews - The New York Post reported that White House Deputy Spokeswoman Anna Kelly stated that U.S. President Donald Trump has decided to withdraw from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The newspaper added that Trump's decision comes due to the organization's "anti-American and anti-Israel" policies.
In February, Trump ordered a 90-day review of the feasibility of U.S. membership in UNESCO, specifically focusing on investigating whether the organization practices "antisemitic or anti-Israel" policies.
According to the New York Post, officials in the Trump administration accuse UNESCO of bias towards Palestine and China.
