SadaNews - The Palestinian Ministry of Interior stated that it is monitoring, after direct communication with our brothers in the Jordanian Ministry of Interior, the complaints regarding unofficial entities selling transportation tickets to travelers via King Hussein Bridge at prices exceeding the official price, prior to their arrival at the crossing. Our brothers in Jordan have confirmed their diligent follow-up of this issue and their handling of it, emphasizing the existence of objective reviews of all details to preserve the dignity and rights of travelers.
Both sides affirm that all details and information related to this issue are under diligent monitoring at the highest levels, within the framework of continuous partnership and coordination, including the development of travel mechanisms, improving infrastructure, and combating any exploitative practices that may affect travelers.
The Ministry of Interior also expresses its deep appreciation for the strong fraternal relationship between the State of Palestine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, based on mutual respect and steadfast cooperation in various fields, especially regarding the regulation of travel movement through the crossings and providing everything that ensures the comfort and dignity of our people.
