UNRWA: Health Danger Threatening Gaza Due to Lack of Clean Water and Heat
SadaNews - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned that the lack of clean water in the Gaza Strip, combined with overcrowded shelters and rising temperatures, could lead to severe health consequences.
UNRWA stated in a brief announcement on its "X" platform today, Saturday: "The blockade must be lifted and we must be allowed to resume delivering humanitarian aid, including hygiene supplies, to Gaza."
It pointed out that 800 hungry people were killed after being shot while trying to obtain a little food, emphasizing that an effective system has been replaced by a deadly scam aimed at forcing people to flee and deepening the policy of collective punishment against Palestinians in Gaza.
