Israeli Army Deploys More Troops for Siege of Beit Hanoun
Translation by SadaNews - The Israeli army announced on Wednesday evening the deployment of Givati Brigade forces under the command of the 162nd Division to operate in the town of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza Strip.
According to a statement from the Israeli army, as translated by SadaNews, the aim is to completely encircle the town.
It indicated that its forces will work to destroy the infrastructure of "terrorism," eliminate its elements, and weaken and destroy Hamas's military capabilities there.
This comes two days after an attack carried out by Hamas elements that resulted in the deaths of five soldiers and injuries to 14 others with varying degrees of wounds.
