Smotrich: The Houthis Have Underground Missiles That Reach 2000 km
SadaNews - Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich revealed new intelligence information suggesting that the Houthis in Yemen have developed advanced military capabilities that exceed what the Israeli security establishment previously thought.
According to Smotrich, the Houthi group has constructed fortified underground facilities containing long-range ballistic missiles that can reach distances of up to 2000 kilometers.
Smotrich stated: "We believed that the Houthis represented an Iranian arm directed only at Saudi Arabia, but we discovered they are part of a larger network targeting Israel."
The Israeli minister pointed out that the late Iranian military commander, Qassem Soleimani, was leading a military strategic plan known as "Ring of Fire," aimed at surrounding Israel with armed formations from multiple fronts, as part of a broader regional project to undermine Israeli security.
