Israeli Soldier Killed in Northern Gaza Strip
SadaNews Translation - The Israeli army announced on Friday morning the death of one of its soldiers in northern Gaza.
According to the Israeli army, the deceased soldier is named Yair Eliyahu from the engineering corps in the northern brigade, noting that he was killed as a result of an operational incident.
The Israeli army radio reported, as translated by SadaNews, that the incident occurred at 2 AM when an engineering vehicle fell into a very large hole and collided with another vehicle that was nearby, resulting in the death of the driver of the latter.
It was indicated that the incident took place in the town of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.
