Israeli Army Announces Assassination of Hamas Activists who Killed 7 Soldiers in Khan Younis

SadaNews Translation - The Israeli army announced this evening, Wednesday, that it successfully assassinated two Hamas operatives who carried out an explosive attack on a "Puma" military vehicle in Khan Younis in southern Gaza last week, resulting in the deaths of 7 soldiers.

According to the Israeli army, the operation was executed two days later in cooperation with the General Security Service "Shin Bet", following precise intelligence information, as translated by SadaNews.

It revealed that the Hamas activists are: Musab Yasser Ghalban and Abdul Latif Musa Barbak.

Twenty Israeli soldiers were killed in the Gaza Strip during the past month of June, while today a soldier was killed and 8 were injured, 3 of them critically, in battles in Shujaiya.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, had released a video of the operation in which the seven soldiers were killed after one of its fighters approached and threw an explosive device inside the military vehicle.
