Occupation Releases 14 Detainees from Gaza
SadaNews - The International Committee of the Red Cross reported on Tuesday that it facilitated the release of 14 detainees and their transfer from the Kissofim crossing to the Al-Shuhada Hospital in the central Gaza Strip.
It indicated that its team worked on connecting the detainees with their families for meetings and reunification.
The International Committee stated that it regularly supports the transfer of released detainees to Gaza from the crossings between Israel and Gaza.
The committee's teams work on delivering them to hospitals in coordination with the Ministry of Health to conduct necessary medical examinations, providing them with some clothing and personal hygiene supplies. They are also allowed to use phones in hospitals to contact their relatives for reunification.
It affirmed that it will continue its efforts to resume visits by its representatives to Israeli detention facilities to monitor the conditions of Palestinian detainees and relay information about them to their families.
