Lazaree: "The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" Only Provides Starvation and Bullets to Palestinians
SadaNews - The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said on Tuesday that dozens of humanitarian organizations have called for the cessation of the activities of the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," which is run by the United States and Israel, as it "only provides starvation and bullets" to civilians in the sector.
Lazzarini explained in a post on the "X" platform that "more than 130 non-governmental humanitarian organizations have called for the restoration of a unified coordination and distribution mechanism (for aid in Gaza) led by the United Nations, including UNRWA, based on international humanitarian law."
He noted that dozens of humanitarian organizations have called for the end of the activities of the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" because it "only provides starvation and gunfire" to the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that since the launch of the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" project on May 27, at least "500 starving people have been killed and about 4,000 others injured while desperately trying to obtain food."
