Chairman of the Capital Market Authority Discusses Joint Files with the Attorney General
SadaNews - Today, the Chairman of the Authority, Ammar Al-Akar, discussed several joint files during a visit to the Attorney General's office. Al-Akar led a delegation from the Authority that included the Director General of the Authority, Barak Al-Nabulsi, and Mr. Amjad Qabha, the Director General of Insurance; Murad Al-Judba, the Director General of the General Financial Markets Authority; Lina Ghabesh, the Director General of the General Leasing Administration; and Mr. Bilal Abu Zeina, acting Director of the Legal Department, along with Rabab Sabah from Public Relations. The delegation was received by the Attorney General, Akram Al-Khateeb, in the presence of a number of heads of specialized prosecution offices, within the framework of enhancing cooperation and joint coordination.
During the meeting, a number of files related to the work of both parties were discussed, particularly issues related to the insurance sector, securities, and leasing, in addition to mechanisms for cooperation and the exchange of information and technical expertise to enhance the effectiveness of legal procedures and serve the protection of rights and the public interest.



The Attorney General emphasized the importance of the integration of roles between the relevant national institutions and the enhancement of institutional partnership in facing emerging challenges, which contributes to developing a more effective legal and regulatory environment. For his part, the Chairman of the Authority, Mr. Ammar Al-Akar, affirmed the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination between the two institutions to enhance the protection of rights and the joint effort to achieve the public interest for citizens.
