Fuel and Gas Prices for April 2026

SadaNews - The Palestinian Authority's General Petroleum Corporation published the fuel and gas prices for the month of April this evening, Tuesday, where there was a sharp increase in the prices of gasoline, gas, and diesel. The price of diesel has risen by more than 2.5 shekels per liter compared to last month. The price of a liter of gasoline has increased by more than one shekel compared to last month. Gas prices have also seen a significant rise compared to last month, with the price of a 5 kg gas cylinder increasing by 8 shekels from last month. The price of a 12 kg gas cylinder has increased by 20 shekels from last month according to Sada News Economy monitoring.

The Palestinian General Petroleum Corporation issued a press statement stating:

The General Petroleum Corporation in the Ministry of Finance continues its efforts to ensure the continued supply of fuel and gas derivatives to the Palestinian market, despite the challenges associated with energy crises at both regional and global levels. At the same time, it is monitoring citizens' observations to prevent any monopoly or exploitation of the current exceptional circumstances.

In this context, the corporation urges citizens to avoid dealing with rumors circulating through social media about fuel availability and prices, emphasizing the continued supply to the Palestinian market, coinciding with the increasing demand due to concerns related to the conflict in the region.

Based on the principle of transparency with our dear citizens, to prevent any ambiguity or misinterpretation, and to mitigate the impact of rumors in light of the critical conditions that Palestine and the region are undergoing, the corporation clarifies the following:

First: Fuel supply to the Palestinian market continues uninterrupted, despite existing and anticipated challenges, as data from the corporation indicates the supply of 8 million liters of gasoline and 17 million liters of diesel during the past ten days.

Second: The corporation will continue, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, to conduct oversight rounds at fuel stations to ensure that petroleum derivatives reach citizens fairly and with dignity, and to maintain the continuity of various sectors, especially the vital ones.

Third: The corporation has observed the circulation of forged publications containing price lists for oil derivatives and is currently working with relevant authorities to track the sources of this false news aimed at creating confusion, and to take the necessary legal actions against its promoters. It also calls on citizens not to pay attention to this unverified information, emphasizing that it is the only body authorized to issue the official price list at its usual times, on the last day of each month.

In light of the unprecedented rise in global oil prices, the exacerbation of multi-dimensional energy crises, and the reliance on prices set by the Israeli markets as they are the main supplier for the Palestinian market, the General Petroleum Corporation announces the fuel and gas prices for April 2026.
