Sources to 'SadaNews': Israel Extends Banking Relations with Palestinian Banks
SadaNews Exclusive - Informed sources revealed to "SadaNews" on Thursday evening that Israel has decided to extend its banking relationship with Palestinian banks for two months, until 31/5/2026.
According to the sources, the correspondent Israeli banks have informed their Palestinian counterparts of this decision.
This is the second or third time that these banks have extended the banking relationship.
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich had been vigorously seeking to sever the banking relationship as part of attempts to impose sanctions on the Palestinian Authority due to its positions.
Under U.S. pressure, the Israeli government refrains from taking this step.
