The occupancy rate in Bethlehem hotels reached 80%
SadaNews - Elias Al-Arja, Vice President of the Palestinian Arab Hotels Association, said today, Wednesday, that the occupancy rate in hotels on the eve of Christmas, specifically on the 24th and 25th of this month, reached 80%.
Al-Arja added that the number of guests in the hotels reached (8000), of which (6000) are from within the 1948 territories, and the rest are foreign tourists from various countries, including: India, Romania, Nigeria, and others, pointing out that the occupancy rate by the end of 2025 is expected to reach 25%.
He noted that there are 74 hotels in the Bethlehem Governorate (the cities of Bethlehem, Beit Sahour, and Beit Jala), which have recently seen partial occupancy in 70 of them, while the remaining ones are still closed.
