Financial Inclusion Working Committees Discuss Future Work Plans and Review Achievements of the National Strategy
SadaNews Economy - The Financial Inclusion Working Committees held their meeting today, Monday, co-chaired by the Palestinian Monetary Authority and the Capital Market Authority, with participation from members of the working groups.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments and key achievements in the implementation of the national financial inclusion strategy, as well as discussing the decisions issued by the National Committee for Financial Inclusion and mechanisms for their follow-up and implementation.
Participants also discussed the development of a new work plan for the national strategy for the years (2026 – 2028), ensuring the expansion of the beneficiary base and enhancing innovation in digital financial services.
The meeting also featured a review of the national strategy for small, medium, and micro enterprises, with an agreement to prepare an executive plan in cooperation with the Ministry of National Economy and the SME Working Group, contributing to supporting this vital sector and enabling it to access suitable financing and banking services, thus enhancing its role in driving economic growth.
