The President Receives a Delegation from the Palestinian Contractors Union
SadaNews - President Mahmoud Abbas received today, Saturday, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, a delegation from the Palestinian Contractors Union headed by the union's president, Ahmad Qadi.
The delegation informed President Abbas about the union's main activities and the efforts it is making to increase the contribution of the contracting sector to boost the national economy, and to remove the obstacles hindering that.
The president praised the role of the Palestinian Contractors Union in supporting the national economy, especially in the difficult conditions the homeland is experiencing due to the ongoing aggression by the occupation, and its relentless work to provide job opportunities in the national economy, and to increase them in a way that helps alleviate the burdens on citizens.
He emphasized the importance of a significant and central role for the Palestinian Contractors Union in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, which would benefit both citizens and the national economy.
