SadaNews - As part of the Ministry of Labor's efforts to enhance the outputs of vocational training to meet the labor market needs, Labor Minister Dr. Inas Al-Attar graduated 56 female students who completed specialized and modern training programs in electronic marketing, interior design, and graphic design.

The Minister of Labor, Dr. Inas Al-Attar, also inaugurated the Aqaba Vocational Training Center, in the presence of Nablus Governor Ghassan Daghlas, Aqaba Municipality President Salah Al-Din Jaber, the President of the General Union of Palestinian Trade Unions, and representatives from national and popular forces, as well as official and community institutions.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Attar toured the center's facilities and reviewed the center's equipment and the training programs offered to the local youth, emphasizing the importance of vocational training in preparing young people and job seekers by providing them with advanced and quality skills that meet labor market requirements. This, she noted, can help them establish entrepreneurial projects that contribute to reducing unemployment and creating new job opportunities in line with the latest professional and technological developments, thus enhancing employment prospects and economic integration.

She reiterated the importance of unifying efforts with local partners to support and economically empower women in the labor market, highlighting the importance of turning to vocational training as an effective tool to combat unemployment and achieve sustainable development.

The Minister of Labor and her accompanying delegation also visited the Aqaba Cooperative Society for Community Development, where she learned about the role the association plays in economically empowering and supporting women and youth, emphasizing the role of cooperatives and their importance in driving the economic wheel, and highlighting the need to enhance the social economy and expand related employment programs. This is in line with the national initiative for employment and economic empowerment recently launched by the ministry, contributing to supporting job opportunities in Palestine.
