Burning Gulf Wealth for the Fourth Time and Redrawing Its Map

The international scene now appears surreal to the extent that Salvador Dali, with his artistic madness that produced creations, would not have imagined anything compared to the madness of this phase led by dinosaurs we thought had gone extinct, only to be resurrected in a seemingly human form. When you listen to the President of this sick moment blaming the countries that opened their financial houses and lands and bases to his forces and thieves, and held their money in his coffers under the pretext of protecting Israel from Iran, and holds them responsible for the deaths of his soldiers because they did not defend them, you wonder if he is possessed by an incurable madness or if his hosts are the same. Did he bring his soldiers to protect them in a children's nursery or in a war zone he ignited under the pretext of defending Israel and shifted it to just defending the Gulf! Many questions can be raised in the ears that have become deaf to rulers who have turned their countries into platforms against neighbors, even if they are not pure in reality, but they were not at war with them.

All this war was pre-programmed Israeli-wise and in the drawers of the deep savage state in America. This creature wanted to be its hero and declared his victory dozens of times with his master Netanyahu, and in the end he told the Gulf States, "Protect us, or we will shake you and do this and that," while his eyes are on other matters and worse plans for the Gulf that he sarcastically articulated but rotate in a mind that lives inherited decades in his savage crusader imagination and in his known behavior throughout his shameful history of financial and moral precedents.

When Trump mentions the names of the Gulf states and does not consider them countries but rather wealthy backward gatherings that do not protect themselves, he surpasses President Obama in the White House, who was brought in to execute what the Republicans started with an Arab Spring, which was a fiasco, and succeeded in destroying many countries with the help of the Gulf states themselves, handing Iraq over to Iran and leaving Syria and Lebanon as prey to its militias that supported the Marines in murder, torture, and sectarian cleansing in Iraq and Syria. Obama was as much a hater of the Arabs as Clinton, Bush Sr., and Jr., who openly declared that they were waging religious crusades purportedly under divine inspiration against Islam akin to Trump’s current entourage of heinous characters.

Moreover, Obama loved Persian civilization and despised Arabic, perhaps due to his limited knowledge of its history, even though Persian civilization did not add to science and civilization except for the landmarks of buildings and statues. He openly expressed his hatred for Palestinians with his unlimited support for the occupation, and left Israel with a financial deal worth 38 billion dollars before his term ended.

I do not think Trump is contrary to his predecessors, but has achieved more record numbers than the shaky Biden in supporting the genocide against the Palestinian people, and continued to proudly state that he supplied the occupation with deadlier bombs and personally participated in death traps in fake aid centers. And there are no innocents in the West on the continents of evil and the devil, from which the Creator has veiled the prophets from participating in genocide - they all have our blood on their hands. As for what revolves in the minds of Trump and Netanyahu regarding the region, that is another story.

I have followed Trump's mockery of the Gulf states for decades since he was a wrestling man and a real estate con artist, now more than ever dripping with hatred, conspiracy, malice, and disdain during this war which he exploited to fill his pocket and those of his aides and the dominating Zionist lobby over his inner garment and backside, exposing their shame even to non-humans.

What caught my attention is that some Iraqi channels are broadcasting programs and images about crowds preparing to invade Kuwait again under an Iranian-American banner together. The Iran-Iraq war did not happen because Saddam wanted it, but the soundtrack of exporting the Islamic revolution was playing from Tehran daily when Khomeini, a product of Western intelligence, began behaving as if he were the ruling cleric in Iraq and demanded the sending of khums taxes to Tehran, refusing to even receive any message from Saddam, for Khomeini was brought in after the CIA's overthrow of the Shah.

I did not wish to touch on this topic, but it is within this narrative. Kuwait was referred to as the land of the Arabs in terms of progress and Arab openness, and participated in the wars of 67 and 73, but I have a bitter experience with Kuwait as they abandon those who stand by them without a whisper of conscience. I spent 13 years in Kuwait and later considered it a loss of my life as I was expelled twice without reason and had to pay for my tickets due to articles in which I defended Kuwait at critical times.

Despite that, I held no grudge against them, and when Kuwait was invaded, I stood with them and contributed along with others to support the Kuwaiti popular delegation that came to Jordan to explain its case. When people were going to Kuwait from Amman, I refused to go and told those who tried to entice me to go that I live under occupation and do not wish to enter occupied land.

The story of the occupation of Kuwait was also U.S.-programmed like the current war, as it is one of the wars for fleecing profits and destroying nations. After the October war and the rise in oil prices, thanks to the embargo imposed by the late King Faisal, may Allah have mercy on him, thoughts began to focus on generating revenues. Hence came the Iran-Iraq war, as Saddam Hussein was sweet-talked into invading Kuwait and solving his problems with it as a matter that did not concern Washington. Kuwait was pushed by verbal scheming into a position that would cause Iraq to lose its sanity and fall into an imminent trap, and that is what happened. I remember that after discussing an Arab solution and the need for Iraq's withdrawal, and Mubarak and King Fahd welcoming it, things reversed the next day, and Mubarak went out to beat the drums of war with the Saudi monarch after receiving stern American instructions. After the Iran-Iraq war, which exhausted many Iraqi, Iranian, and Gulf resources, a new war was necessary to deplete what had accumulated from development and wealth that Trump often mentions enviously.

The Palestinian stance was clear, and the Palestinian position was overlooked both publicly and officially by Iraq and the Gulf states together as Iraq sent recruits from small Palestinian factions loyal to it and deployed them at checkpoints in Kuwait to confirm the participation of Palestinian elements in the invasion. While many Kuwaitis, due to kinship, enjoyed the service of Iraqi officers, Palestinians volunteered to leave, and no one published anything about the position of Abu Amar, may he rest in peace, who tried dozens of times to convince Saddam Hussein, whether at small summit meetings held in Baghdad or in bilateral meetings, to withdraw. After the invasion of Kuwait, Saddam Hussein met with Arafat in the desert away from Baghdad for security reasons and heard from Abu Amar his demand for immediate withdrawal to prevent Iraq from suffering a catastrophe like the one in Jerusalem. In another meeting afterward, Arafat asked Saddam to withdraw before matters escalated, to which Tariq Aziz responded, "We want to liberate Jerusalem; don't you want to liberate Jerusalem!"

After the meeting and upon exiting, Tariq Aziz approached Abu Amar and told him, "Go back to the President and repeat what you said in the meeting, meaning withdraw, for the President may agree," as Tariq had opposed Abu Amar's remarks in the meeting and wished it secretly. I was told that there are dozens of minutes from the meetings, and they exist where Arafat reiterated his position calling for withdrawal, to the extent that Mubarak was silenced at the emergency summit in Cairo but was executing American instructions. The last attempt was that Arafat obtained Saddam's approval for a French proposal for withdrawal, but the train of war had already left the station.

Now Trump joins Khomeini in an attempt to isolate the Gulf states, one by one, claiming that their opening of their lands to Americans is justified by their weakness; this is not convincing, as the weak, if united, can do something. Arafat had discovered Iranian ambitions early after the success of the Iranian revolution in a meeting with Khomeini, who treated him with Persian superiority and seated him on a low cushion to his left while speaking Persian despite knowing Arabic. Arafat knew all the new leaders in Iran as he had sponsored, funded, and trained them in Beirut, and upon meeting Khomeini, he was returning from Paris exhilarated, having met for the first time with a European leader, and conveyed from President de Gaulle words about France's openness to cooperate militarily with any Arab or Islamic country to finance the Mirage 2000 aircraft manufacturing program, and when this proposal was communicated to Khomeini, he turned his face and said, "We want to reach sea waters," to which Arafat replied, "But you are on many seas," and Khomeini responded, "We want to reach the Mediterranean Sea." After that, Arafat left Tehran and requested Iraq to open an office for him in the security area in Baghdad, and he began frequenting only Baghdad and Tunis.

The Persian ambitions are in the Arab East only, not in the east of Iran, where many countries speak Persian. The challenge to the current Western civilization is historically Arab; no civilizations arose in Europe but military states without cultures or sciences since the Greeks, then the Romans and Byzantines. The Greeks took sciences from the lands of the two rivers, namely Sumer and the Levant, then the Crusades and the fall of Andalusia opened the gates to the seas of knowledge, inventions, and Baghdad, Damascus, and Cordoba's products that they took and attributed to themselves and developed.

Now we find that Trump is determined to extract any victory with Netanyahu for two reasons: first, the Israeli elections in October and the congressional midterm elections in November, in addition to what he can gain in wealth and money during and after the war. Thus, victory is necessary in any form, and his goal is not, for example, to fragment Iran into states or instigate civil wars that would unsettle the Russian bear in the north and the Chinese dragon in the east, but rather to maintain a united Iran poised to be a partner in sharing influence in the region. I recall from one of my last articles in Al-Gulf newspaper after the Emirati normalization that the Iranian-Israeli conflict is about sharing areas of influence in the Arab region, and when Trump says that Kuwait is Iraqi, he assures Iran in advance that Iraq will remain under Iranian occupation and assures Turkey that it can operate in Syria and northern Iraq, and reassures Ethiopia that it will not be harmed, and the old devilish quartet of Ankara, Tehran, Tel Aviv, and Addis Ababa remains like a noose to choke the Arab world, and other countries in the Gulf and Africa are likely to find themselves in another place on the map. And Allah is the Helper.
