The Palestinian Cause and Its Representatives on the Brink of the Abyss Unless...

SadaNews - As steps towards judaization accelerate, and attempts to entrench complete Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip become apparent, there is a clear exploitation of the drooping Palestinian situation, the frail Arab stance, the hesitant European position, and the American unconditional support for the eternal ally "Israel".

Despite the deteriorating image of Israel in the popular international scene, and to a lesser extent in the official realm, which is now leaning towards imposing some form of isolation on the Hebrew state due to its arrogance and acts of killing, destruction, displacement, starvation, and the genocide practiced against the Palestinian Arab people, there is a clear and unjustified official Palestinian absence regarding all developments, challenges, and ongoing events.

The Palestine Liberation Organization, with its current structure, and the National Authority with its current formation, are now on the verge, or as the popular saying goes, "on the edge of a razor." Their collapse or replacement is looming, and the Palestinian cause is on the brink of the abyss, according to current realities on the ground, unless there is a serious Palestinian awakening commensurate with the present challenges.

The Israeli occupation government led by the extreme right trio "Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, and Smotrich" is in a race against time, pressing towards exploiting a golden opportunity that may not be repeated, with the current American president Donald Trump, obsessed with dominance, arrogance, and supporting the occupation’s policies and practices, achieving biblical dreams and beginning to establish what they call "Greater Israel" on the "Palestinian and Arab ruins," and they spare no effort in promoting their plans and expressing them in a manner that does not allow interpretation, analysis, or minimizing their significance, dangers, and consequences, nor any condemnation, denunciation, or warning.

Perhaps the most prominent and dangerous of these plans, which are carried out secretly and openly, with absolute American approval, are:

1. The ongoing aggression in Gaza which has lasted more than 700 days, and the announcement of the occupiers' intention to extend control over the entire strip and forcibly displace residents again to the south and outside the strip using scorched earth policies and ambitions to control it, transforming it into a "Riviera of the Middle East."

2. The leaked Israeli plan that outlines dividing the Bethlehem governorate into three parts and removing the Dheisheh camp, under which Bethlehem City would be under civilian administration specialized in religious affairs, placing the Church of the Nativity under the Vatican's patronage that would manage religious matters and pilgrimage to the Bethlehem region, linking Beit Sahour to the Ma'ale Adumim settlement, completely isolating the city of Beit Jala from Bethlehem and connecting it to nearby settlements (Har Gilo / Gilo / Etzion bloc), and working to displace all holders of permanent and temporary Jordanian passports (Muslims and Christians).

3. Recently, there were rumors about the occupation's intention to separate Hebron from the Palestinian territories and establish what has been termed the "Emirate of Hebron," based on a broad claim presented to it by some weak souls, which the residents of Hebron denied, warning against being led astray by suspicious individuals.

4. Ongoing discussions in Israeli governmental circles regarding the annexation of the West Bank, totally or partially, and extending Israeli sovereignty over it, and creating conditions pushing the original Palestinian population to voluntary emigration.

5. The Israeli right-wing preparations, supported by the government, to extend control over Islamic and Christian holy sites, notably the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is being planned for demolition to establish the alleged temple on its ruins - God forbid - thus fulfilling biblical dreams.

6. The culmination of the plans is tightening the grip on the Palestinian leadership after the American administration announced its rejection of granting entry visas to the Palestinian delegation headed by President Mahmoud Abbas to New York to attend the UN General Assembly meetings, pressuring the Palestinian leadership to retract its intention to declare the Palestinian Authority as a state under occupation, following President Abu Mazen's reading of the intentions of European countries led by France and Britain, to recognize the Palestinian state.

7. Continuation of tightening the siege on the Palestinian people, continuing to withhold their legitimate funds (customs revenues) and depicting the Palestinian Authority as unable to meet the needs of its people, while simultaneously increasing military campaigns in the West Bank, arrests, mistreatment of prisoners, arming settlers, and turning a blind eye to their brutal assaults against residents of the West Bank.

These plans implicitly express the occupation government's complete renunciation of agreements with the Palestinian side and its clear intention to establish a Palestinian authority led by figures tailored and managed by it. Does this not necessitate a more serious and firm stance from the Palestinian leadership? Especially since we have not seen any meetings of any leadership structures recently! Shouldn't the Palestinian leadership announce the initiation of serious national dialogue that encompasses all Palestinians in all their components and come out with a unified stance and national strategy to face the challenges and place the entire world before its responsibilities while pressing for intervention to stop the hemorrhage of Palestinian human and geographical losses? Every Palestinian, of all shades, is called to study and deeply diagnose all the challenges and reconsider all previous actions of struggle, whether through negotiations or resistance, and exploit international stagnant waters moving towards the Palestinian cause, through:

Locally: Fortifying the internal front by returning to the people and restoring lost trust in it, by improving governmental performance and reducing rampant corruption, confronting the public with the truth, even if painful, and restoring the Palestine Liberation Organization as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian Arab people, raising individual hegemony over it and reinforcing it with young national leaders who have a respectable history of struggle, high national morals, and public acceptance, capable of leading it to the nearest point of safety, even if there will be - and certainly there will be - a heavy price.

Arabically: Officially and popularly approaching the Arab nation with a unified stance and pressing to extract a more serious and firm unified Arab position, especially since the Zionist-American plans also target the Arab nation, exposing the complacent among them before their peoples, and how can Arabs be asked to stand beside the Palestinian people while they are torn apart.

Internationally: Continuing to expose and reveal Israeli practices that contradict all laws, norms, and universal and divine principles, and multiplying diplomatic campaigns warning of the consequences of these practices and the behavior of the extreme Israeli leadership, which will lead the region and draw the world into a third global war.
