Israeli army arrests a young man from Qalqilya on charges of killing a settler in 2007
SadaNews translation - The Israeli army announced on Tuesday the arrest of a Palestinian young man from Qalqilya in the West Bank, allegedly responsible for the killing of a settler in a shooting incident in the city in 2007.
According to a statement from the Israeli army, the arrested young man is Shadi Jum'a, who had been held by the Palestinian Authority after he surrendered to them following the execution of the operation.
It pointed out that the operation was carried out in cooperation with the Shin Bet security service.
It clarified that he was arrested after having been released from the Palestinian Authority's prisons a short time ago, noting that he was transferred for interrogation by the Shin Bet. According to SadaNews translation.
