Israel Army: We Destroyed All Tunnels in Beit Hanoun Stretching 11 Kilometers
SadaNews Translation - The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that its engineering units have completed their work in the town of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, after destroying more than 11 kilometers of tunnels over several months.
According to a statement from the Israeli army, the above-ground and underground infrastructure was systematically destroyed to protect settlements in the western Negev. According to SadaNews translation.
It noted that many combat means were destroyed and Hamas militants were eliminated.
It mentioned that Beit Hanoun was one of the central and complex combat axes that the forces operated in during the ground maneuver within the sector, until the Beit Hanoun Battalion was defeated.
