The Occupation Army Announces the Start of Attacking Hezbollah Infrastructure Amid Rising Tensions in Lebanon

SadaNews - The Lebanese arena is witnessing rapid developments with the continuation of Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the south and western Bekaa. The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of a paramedic and the injury of two others in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Sarifa in southern Lebanon.

In contrast, the Israeli occupation army confirmed that it intercepted several drones launched towards the Naqab area, while others fell inside Israeli territory near the border with Lebanon. The occupation army clarified that it has begun attacking infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in various areas in southern Lebanon, a step it described as a response to the recent escalation.

Media sources also reported an Israeli airstrike on the vicinity of the Qaroun Dam in the western Bekaa, which expands the scope of military operations to areas further than the southern border. Inside Israel, the home front sounded warning sirens in several towns, including Arab al-Aramsha and Naqab in western Galilee, due to the infiltration of hostile drones, where alerts were repeated four times within one hour.

For its part, Channel 12 in Israel reported that another drone fell within the Israeli borders with Lebanon, causing a fire in the area, indicating an expansion of the confrontation and increasing risks for civilians on both sides.
