US Secretary of State: Agreement with Iran Still Possible
SadaNews - US Secretary of State Marco Rubio affirmed that the possibility of reaching an agreement with Iran regarding its nuclear file is still on the table, indicating that Monday could witness tangible progress in this regard.
Rubio explained that the United States is seeking to reach a "good agreement" with Iran but emphasized at the same time that alternatives are on the table if negotiations fail. He stated: "We either reach a good agreement, or we will have to deal with the matter in another way."
He added that Washington will give diplomacy every possible chance to succeed before considering other options, affirming that there is a strong possibility of entering into limited-duration negotiations regarding the Iranian nuclear file.
