Washington Announces Change in Course for 65 Commercial Vessels Since Iran Sanctions Began and Interception of 4
SadaNews - The U.S. Central Command announced that it has changed the course of 65 commercial vessels since the start of the Iran sanctions, and intercepted 4 ships that did not comply with its orders.
The Israeli army announced the interception of a drone, claiming it was launched from "the east", while Israeli reports indicated it was intercepted in the Eilat area. The army radio stated that "the preliminary investigation conducted by the air force regarding the drone interception in Eilat shows that one target was detected over the sea near Eilat, but it was not close enough to the city to trigger an alert," noting that "the air defense systems successfully intercepted the target".
It added that "the air force is still conducting its investigations into the incident, and at this stage, there is no complete certainty regarding whether the target was indeed a drone, as they do not rule out the possibility that it could have been birds, and they still do not know where it originated from".
On the 74th day of the outbreak of the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran, the intensity of political and military tensions has escalated, amid increasing signs of stalled efforts for de-escalation.
