Incursions and Clashes in the West Bank; Dozens Arrested Including Released Prisoners

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of raids and arrests early Wednesday morning across various areas of the occupied West Bank, which included clashes in several locations resulting in injuries, cases of suffocation, and the arrest of dozens of Palestinians, including released prisoners and a woman, as well as the invasion of homes, searching them, and assaulting their residents.

In Jenin, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya and raided several homes until the morning hours, arresting at least four Palestinians, including released prisoner Izz el-Din Abu Ma’ala and his mother, Sana Zakarneh.

In Tulkarm, released prisoner Taysir al-Jaber and young man Saleem Salah Alaria were arrested after the raid on their homes in the town of Iktaba, while in Qalqilya, brothers Sami, Louay, and Hani Jum'a, along with his son Baraa, were arrested during the incursion into the town of Kafr Qadoum.

The arrests also extended to the town of Silwad northeast of Ramallah, where the father and brothers of young Abdul Halim Ruhi Hamad, who was martyred early today, were arrested, amid local reports of gunfire inside the family's home during the incursion.

In Hebron, forces carried out a wide campaign in the town of Beit Ummar, resulting in the arrest of seven Palestinians, including Yasin Adel Zara'iq and Qussam Ghazi Aadi, among others. Additionally, they stormed the Al-Aroub camp and arrested young Akram Khalil Ghanam after searching his house.

On the ground, clashes erupted in the Al-Aroub camp, leading to a young man being shot in the leg, after which he was transferred to the hospital, and his condition was described as moderate.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Information Center (Maqta) reported that resistance operations have continued in the West Bank over the past 48 hours, with around 17 incidents of clashes or confrontations against settler attacks in various areas, including throwing stones and direct confrontations in various locations in Jerusalem, Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, and Bethlehem.
