Injuries and Arrests During Incursions Campaign in the West Bank

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched an extensive campaign of raids and incursions in various areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem in the early hours and morning of Sunday, resulting in the arrest of several Palestinians, along with injuries during clashes that erupted in multiple locations, amid house searches and field investigations after detaining them for hours.

In Qalqilya, the forces conducted a campaign of arrests in the town of Izoun east of the city, and turned one of the houses into a military outpost for questioning the residents, according to local sources and the Palestinian Prisoners Club, which confirmed the arrest of several young men.

In Hebron province, the occupation forces stormed several towns, including Beit Awa and Dura, where extensive searches of homes were carried out and their contents were vandalized, in addition to arresting several young men and released prisoners.

The incursions also included polling centers in the West Bank related to local elections, leading to clashes that resulted in at least six Palestinians being injured due to assaults and abuse.

In occupied Jerusalem, clashes broke out in Silwan and Shufat refugee camp, during which the forces used rubber bullets and gas grenades, while the youth responded by throwing Molotov cocktails and firecrackers at the settlement outposts.

In the town of Mukhmas north of Jerusalem, tensions prevailed after the entrances to the town were closed and clashes occurred with locals, coinciding with the presence of settlers in the area.

A young man was also injured by live ammunition in the town of Al-Ram north of Jerusalem, and he was transported to the hospital, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, which noted that the injury was in the thigh near the separation wall.

In Nablus, Palestinians were injured during the incursion into the village of Duma, and the occupation forces arrested a girl after storming her house on Sufyan Street, in addition to vandalizing pictures of martyrs during the incursion into the old Askar camp.

The incursions extended to the outskirts of the Jenin camp and the town of Yabad, while a special force stormed the Rafidia neighborhood in Nablus and arrested two young men amid heavy gunfire, as part of a continuous escalation in various areas of the West Bank.
