Election Committee: 22.66% Voter Turnout in Local Elections in Deir al-Balah
SadaNews - The Central Elections Commission announced the closure of polling centers in the city of Deir al-Balah, which numbered 12 centers, to begin the process of counting and sorting the votes in the presence of observers, list agents, and accredited journalists.
The commission stated in a press release that the voter turnout in Deir al-Balah reached 22.66%, as 15,962 voters cast their ballots out of a total of 70,449 eligible voters.
In the West Bank, the commission confirmed that polling centers would close at 7 PM, urging citizens to head to polling centers and participate in the electoral process.
