Continuous Israeli Violations: 4 Martyrs in Southern Lebanon and Hezbollah Targets Border Settlements

SadaNews - Four individuals were martyred on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a motorcycle in the town of Yahr al-Shqif in southern Lebanon, amid ongoing Israeli violations of the fragile ceasefire.

Sirens sounded on Saturday evening in the settlements of "Merhaviyot," "Misgav Am," and "Manara" in the Kiryat Shmona area to warn of projectiles launched from Lebanon. The Israeli army later announced the interception of one projectile and the fall of another in an "open area."

The Israeli army announced the interception of a "suspicious aerial target" in an area where its forces are positioned in southern Lebanon, noting that it had not infiltrated Israeli airspace, and alarms were not activated as per standard procedures.

Israeli occupation forces opened fire early Saturday morning towards the vicinity of the town of Marwahin in southern Lebanon, according to the National News Agency, marking another violation of the ceasefire agreement.

On Saturday morning, the Israeli occupation army announced that it conducted airstrikes overnight targeting rocket launch platforms belonging to "Hezbollah" in three areas of southern Lebanon, which it claims are located north of the "blue line," or outside what Israel describes as the "security strip" within Lebanese territory.

The Israeli army stated in a statement that the targeted platforms "posed an imminent threat to the Israeli army forces and to Israeli citizens."
