Drone Warfare: Israeli Drone Downed in Lebanon and Tel Aviv Downs Another One from Hezbollah
SadaNews Translation - The Israeli army announced on Friday afternoon that a drone belonging to it had fallen in the skies over southern Lebanon.
A statement from the Israeli army, as translated by SadaNews, indicated that the drone had fallen due to a surface-to-air missile fired towards it.
It pointed out that air defenses intercepted a drone launched by Hezbollah towards northern "Israel" and shot it down before it entered the border.
It also noted that a second drone exploded near its forces operating in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah announced that it had downed an Israeli drone of type Hermes 450 with a surface-to-air missile in the skies over the Tyre area.
In the aftermath of these developments, the Israeli army issued orders to evacuate the residents of the town of Deir Ammar in southern Lebanon in preparation for targeting it.
