Netanyahu: If We Hadn't Acted Against Iran, It Would Have Acquired Nuclear Weapons
SadaNews - A few days before the ceasefire between Iran and the US ends, and with the exchange of messages via the Pakistani mediator continuing, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu considered that "if Israel had not acted against Tehran, it would have acquired nuclear weapons".
Netanyahu stated in remarks on Sunday: "If we had not acted and attacked Iran, it would have acquired the nuclear bomb, and that would have been the beginning of the end for the Jewish people," as he put it.
He also added, "More than a year ago, it became clear to us that Tehran was heading towards manufacturing a nuclear bomb to annihilate us," according to Israeli media reports.
He also noted: "This year we faced a huge test; just over a year ago, we found out that Iran was working on preparing nuclear bombs to destroy us, and this is not empty talk or propaganda," as he said.
