Zamir: We Are Not in a Ceasefire and Hezbollah Is Now Isolated

SadaNews Translation - Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stated on Friday that his forces are at war and not in a ceasefire, continuing their operations in Lebanon, which has become the central arena.

This statement came during his visit to his forces in the town of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon.

Zamir added, as translated by SadaNews, "In Iran, we are in a ceasefire, and we can return to fight there at any moment, and very strongly, as translated by SadaNews."

He continued: "In Lebanon, we continue to deepen our achievements and activities... We are in a very important place... Here in Lebanon against Hezbollah... Here we operate and utilize many means and many of our capabilities... The achievements of this war so far are historic."

He said: "Iran before this war is not the same Iran; it is much weaker, and the blow that Iran received affects Hezbollah, because Hezbollah understands that it is now isolated... It is isolated within Lebanon, isolated from its strategic backers, from those who fund it, and from those who supply it with weapons. Therefore, this is a very important achievement."

He added: "While our forces operate deep in the Lebanese front, we dealt a tactical-leadership blow in Beirut and in the Beqaa Valley, and I tell you: Hezbollah is in a state of deep shock... They left the Dahiyeh and went to other places, to northern Beirut and to different neighborhoods, and from there they managed the battle."

He continued: "Hezbollah faces our warplanes, at the front and deep within it... It faces our ground forces; we are removing the direct threat from our settlements, and this is a very important event and a very important achievement."

He concluded: "We are everywhere, as we are in Gaza, as we are in Syria, here also in Lebanon, we are at the forefront."
